This article aims to help users deposit collateral into the various yield products on Derive. The following guide demonstrates this process by depositing weETH to mint weETHC.

Deposit Guide
Step 1 - Open the Yield page and select the vault you would like to deposit into.
Live phase: The vault is open for deposits and the automated derivative strategy is being executed.
Pre-deposit phase: The vault is open for deposits, but the automated derivative strategy is not yet being executed.
Step 2 - Select the ''Network'' and enter the ''Amount'' of tokens to deposit.
Step 3 - Select ''Mint'' and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Step 4 - Select ''Done''. Deposits from Ethereum typically take 2-10 minutes and deposits from Arbitrum 1-2 minutes.
Withdrawal Delays
The withdrawal delay varies based on the automated derivative strategy the vault is executing. Note that during the pre-deposit phase, withdrawals are always instant and typically take 1-10 minutes depending on the network.
Withdrawal Delay Covered Call Strategy
Withdrawals from the vaults executing the covered call strategy are processed once a week after the options the vault sold expire on Friday, 8 am UTC.
